The Ethiopian Cadet Association (ECA) was founded in 2026 to give Ethiopian maritime cadets, officers, and instructors a professional home — a single place to register, build a verified profile, find work during the months between sea contracts, and access training that helps them advance their careers.
Ethiopia trains skilled, internationally certified maritime professionals every year. Yet between contracts, that talent often sits idle with no structured way to earn an income or stay professionally active. ECA exists to solve that specific problem — connecting cadets and officers with local Ethiopian companies, training providers, and each other.

Member Registration
Cadets, officers, instructors, and companies create a verified profile on the ECA platform — the foundation for everything else we offer.
Between-Contract Employment
Our job board connects cadets and officers with local Ethiopian companies for short-term work during the gap between sea contracts.
Training & Courses
Instructors and maritime experts submit Pre-Sea training, Post-Sea training, and online courses that members can browse and enroll in directly.
Professional Networking
ECA is building a growing community of Ethiopian maritime professionals who can connect, share opportunities, and support one another's careers.

ECA was founded and is currently run by a single founder passionate about solving a real problem in Ethiopia's maritime industry. As the platform and community grow, ECA's team will grow with it.
